M3 Glass technologies is a global leader, producing and shipping tons of custom fabricated glass products nationwide from the heart of Dallas/Fort Worth, Tx. Our secondary distribution center in Austin, Tx helps us accommodate our customers in South and Central Texas. Our production facility is comprised of three buildings. The main building is located on part of the original Mammen Farm, which has been in the family for over 100 years. The latest expansion is a 6,000 square foot building that houses our ColorBack paint and Mprint Digital Decorative Glass departments plus the first 720 dpi Dip-Tech AR4000 digital in-glass printer in North America.
To this day, the goal for M3 remains the same: to provide customers with the very best quality and service while identifying, qualifying and integrating the newest technologies available.
In 1956, husband and wife Johnny and Lorene Mammen founded Mammen Glass & Mirror. As a newfound family venture, its early focus was on service, auto glass and residential glazing.
In the mid 70’s, Johnny and Lorene retired, leaving the company to sons John and Jim. By the late 80’s, John and Jim not only retained and operated the family business but were also partners in another venture focused on tempering and processing glass. They sold the tempering plant in ’89 but went on to miss that part of the industry.
During the 90’s John’s son Chris joined the management team and the
company gradually added fabrication equipment such as polishers, bevellers and CNC machines. By 2005, Mammen Glass reached the point of growth where it would need a tempering furnace if it wanted to continue to control its own destiny all while continuing to develop into the wholesale glass processing business. After a strong move to the wholesale business, it was obvious that there were now two very different and not entirely compatible companies operating as one.
After a strong move to the wholesale business, it was obvious that we
were now a fabricator, and no longer a “glass and Mirror” company. We
needed a new name to fit our evolved identity: M3 Glass Technologies, the
M3 representing the three Mammens involved: John, Jim, and Chris.
Since re-branding in 2005, M3 Glass Technologies has remained committed to identifying, qualifying and integrating the newest and latest equipment and technologies in the glass industry on a worldwide scale.
